Drivers License & Vehicle Registration
New residents of Wisconsin must apply for a Wisconsin Driver's
license within 30 days of moving to the state. The previous
license must be surrendered at this time. Please be ready to
provide your Social Security number and proof of Identification.
Within 2 days of establishing residency, your vehicle must be registered in the state of Wisconsin and display Wisconsin license plates.

Registering your Children for School
Contact the Racine Unified school district. Students should report to
their appropriate school with the following information:
- Proof of residency
- Immunization records
- Birth certificate (for children in kindergarten and first grade; 3-5 years old)
- Any additional information requested by the school or district

Pet Registration

Voter Registration
In Wisconsin you may register to vote at your city, town or village
clerk's office, or you may register at the polling place on
polling days. You must meet the following criteria in order to
register to vote:
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be a resident of the area for at least 10 days
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Those convicted of a felony, bribery or treason are unable to register until their civil rights have been restored.
